Innovel Energy Services Pvt Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development (BD) to drive growth and expand our solar business. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the solar industry, strong BD acumen, and a proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Market Expansion: Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and presence in the solar industry within the region.
Client Acquisition: Identify, engage, and build relationships with potential clients, including government bodies, private sector organizations, and NGOs, focusing on solar energy solutions.
Sales Targets: Achieve revenue and sales targets through strategic planning and strong business development initiatives.
Project Development: Lead efforts in the identification, assessment, and development of new solar projects.
Contract Negotiation: Oversee and manage contract negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms that align with company objectives.
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Reporting: Maintain records of business activities, track BD metrics, and report regularly on business development progress to senior management.


Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of business development experience in the solar industry, with a strong network.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; an MBA would be advantageous.
Skills:
Strong understanding of solar technology and project development lifecycle.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Analytical and strategic thinking abilities to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
