Electrical Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with expertise in solar power system design (rooftop and ground-mounted, up to 10 MW), project management, and procurement coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for technical design, execution planning, vendor management, and ensuring seamless project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solar PV System Design & Engineering

Design grid-connected solar PV systems (rooftop and ground-mounted) up to 10 MW.

Perform load calculations, string sizing, shadow analysis, and power output estimations.

Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), GA drawings, cable schedules, and BOM.

Optimize system performance using PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, and related software.

Ensure compliance with IEC, BIS, MNRE, DISCOM, and other regulatory standards.
2. Project Management & Execution

Develop project schedules, resource allocation plans, and work breakdown structures.

Periodic detailed reporting of project execution status.

Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely execution.

Conduct site feasibility assessments, technical audits, and risk mitigation plans.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and statutory approvals.
3. Procurement & Vendor Management

Identify and evaluate suppliers for solar panels, inverters, structures, and electrical components.

Prepare technical specifications, RFPs, and vendor comparison reports.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.

Work closely with the finance and logistics teams for material procurement and inventory control.

Key Skills & Requirements
Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, MS Project, ETAP (preferred)
Technical Expertise:

Solar PV design principles, power system studies, and electrical safety

Knowledge of relevant IEC/BIS standards, DISCOM policies, and net metering regulations

Experience with HT/LT electrical systems, switchgear, and protection systems
Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects, track progress, and resolve on-site challenges
Procurement & Vendor Management: Understanding of supply chain, contracts, and price negotiations
Experience: Minimum 5-8 years in the Solar EPC sector
