Job Description
The Graphic Designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, books, magazines, product packaging, exhibitions and more.
Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.
Must have skills
Mandatory
- Proven graphic designing experience
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma)
- Experience in both scalar and vector graphics i.e, print media experience also included.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
- Test graphics across various media
- Amend designs after feedback
- Knowledge of designing for Print or offline mediums

Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Good to have - Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus

Design a carousel for GeekyAnts’ LinkedIn.
Use the content from the GeekyAnts website Generative AI Integration page, “Our Services”
Section. You can use the heading “Our Customized AI Development Services” for the first slide.

Design a two-page magazine spread for GeekyAnts’ internal magazine.
Use the content from the GeekyAnts website Fintech page. You can pick and choose important
and catchy bits of content from the entire page.

3.1 — What are the tools you use to allocate time for brainstorming, execution, and revisions
while juggling multiple high priority design projects? How do you go about the execution?
3.2 — You’re tasked with creating a social media poster for a meetup that has to stand out in a
crowded market, but the brand guidelines limit your creative freedom. How do you approach
this?
3.3 — If your idea or design concept is rejected by a non-designer, how do you respond and
support them while still contributing your ideas?
