Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic Paint Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and expanding our market presence in the paint industry. This role requires a strong understanding of paint products, industry trends, and customer needs. The Sales Representative will work closely with customers to identify their requirements, provide tailored solutions, and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
    • Identify and prospect new business opportunities in various segments (commercial, industrial, residential).
    • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
    • Conduct regular visits to existing and potential customers to promote paint products, provide product demonstrations, and assess customer needs.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to close sales.
  • Product Knowledge and Consultation:

    • Provide expert advice on the selection and application of paint products, including interior/exterior paints, coatings, primers, and specialty finishes.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitors to provide informed recommendations to clients.
    • Assist customers with technical questions related to product usage, color matching, and project specifications.
  • Customer Service and Support:

    • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing post-sales support.
    • Coordinate product deliveries and ensure timely service.
    • Monitor customer feedback and report on issues that may affect sales or customer retention.
  • Sales Reporting and Administration:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts in the CRM system.
    • Provide regular sales reports and performance updates to the Sales Manager.
    • Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales contracts.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Market Intelligence:

    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, customer needs, and competitor activities.
    • Stay informed about trends in the paint industry, including technological advancements, sustainability efforts, and regulatory changes.
