Qualifications / Experience:
 Should have the minimum manufacturing industry experience 2- 6 years.
 Should understand and speak Telugu language.
 Should have good interpersonal skills.
 Should have qualification of MHRM or Master of Social Work (MSW)
 Candidates with manufacturing background are preferred.
Job Description
 Advise the management and concerned departments on fulfilment of obligations
(statutory and non-statutory), with respect to implementation of provisions of Factories
Act, 1948 concerning regulation of working hours, paid holidays, leaves, medical care,
maternity benefit and other welfare measures.
 Liaison between the workmen and the management by holding discussions on
grievances with a view to promote and maintain harmonious relations between the
management and the workmen. Establishes contacts between the management and the
workmen.
 Interprets provisions of relevant acts (Factories Act, PF, ESI, Maternity Act etc.),
company policy matters, rules and regulation to the workmen in local language or
majority spoken language to make them understand and create awareness among
workmen.
 Suggests measures to the management on provision and improvement of welfare
measures such as hygiene, sanitation, medical facilities, rest rooms, washing facilities,
toilets, transport facilities, cleanliness in the factory, providing healthy working conditions
and work environment at workplace and in the company premises.
 Counsels the workmen with respect to unauthorized absenteeism, habitual absenteeism,
disciplinary matters, behavioral issues, accident prevention and also on personal/family
issues by guiding, advising and helping to resolve their issues.
 Supervises the functioning of canteens and canteen committees, safety committees,
welfare committees, unit level shop floor committees and Division level committees etc.
 Ensures proper functioning of ambulance room, canteen for food supply, maintenance of
employee health records, first aid boxes, drinking water supply, etc.
 Any other responsibility as specified in A.P. Factories Rules, 1950 and relevant to the
role.

For candidates with MHRM/MSW degrees, the following subjects are mandatory:

  • i. Personal Management and Industrial Relations
  • ii. Human Resource Management
  • iii. Labour Legislation
  • iv. Labour Welfare

 

Furthermore, candidates must possess strong Telugu language proficiency and submit their SSC certificate with proof of Telugu as a subject.
