Job Description:
Role Overview
The Café Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day café operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining quality standards, and supporting revenue growth. The role requires a balance of operational efficiency, team coordination, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Oversee daily café operations (opening, closing, service flow)
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety compliance (FSSAI standards)
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and vendor coordination
2. Customer Experience
- Deliver high-quality customer service and handle guest queries/complaints
- Maintain a welcoming and engaging café environment
- Drive repeat customer engagement and feedback collection
3. Team Supervision
- Manage and supervise baristas and service staff
- Support hiring, training, and scheduling of team members
- Ensure staff grooming, discipline, and service standards
4. Sales & Revenue
- Achieve daily/weekly sales targets
- Upsell menu items and promote new offerings
- Track billing, cash handling, and basic reporting
5. Quality Control
- Ensure consistency in food & beverage preparation
- Monitor presentation and service quality
- Work with kitchen/barista team for menu execution
Key Requirements
- Graduate or Diploma in Hospitality / Hotel Management preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in café, QSR, or restaurant operations
- Strong communication and customer handling skills
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing
- Ability to manage teams and handle pressure during peak hours
