Job opening for Procurement Manager

 

Working days: Monday to Saturday (Saturday WFH)

Office Location:  Bangalore 

 

Experience: 5+ years (Specifically from Cosmetics products industry)

 

They should have done procurement and have good suppliers/vendors for cosmetics products (not raw material procurement)

Its a plus if they have done sourcing for any of these products (Loreal, Wella, Rica, O3, Lotus, Raga, Cetaphil, Scschwarzkopf, Cheryl'S, Matrix, Mama Earth, Godrej, Skin Miracle, GK Hair, Ikonic, VLCC, De Fabulous, Aroma Magic, Richelon, Streax, Sara, Formen, Beardo, VEGA, Mr. Barber, Delmy, Biotique)

Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure the availability of
high-quality cosmetics products
● Identify and qualify new suppliers/vendors based on quality, cost, and
reliability criteria.
● Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to optimize
costs while maintaining product quality standards.
● Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality
Assurance, and R&D, to forecast demand and plan procurement
activities accordingly.
● Monitor inventory levels and lead times to prevent stockouts and
minimize excess inventory.
● Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers to ensure
efficient transportation and distribution of finished goods.

● Analyze procurement performance metrics and implement continuous
improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
● Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory
requirements affecting the cosmetics.

● Resolve supplier-related issues and disputes in a timely and
professional manner.
● Mentor and develop junior members of the procurement

team.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree / Master of Business Administration
● Overall 5+ years of experience in which must have strong experience
in procurement with the Cosmetics Industry or company.
● Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships
and negotiating contracts.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make
strategic decisions.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other procurement
software/tools.
● Good understanding of regulatory requirements related to cosmetics
manufacturing and distribution.
