Job description
 This role requires knowledge of the Sales Function in the Retail / Apparel industry.
 Product Knowledge is extremely important to be successful in this role
  Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing
strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, etc.
 Working with a Sales supported ERP would be useful. Creating and Delivering timely MIS reports
Educational Qualification:
 Qualification: B.Com, BMS, MBA/PGDBM
 Specialization: Commerce, Marketing, Sales, etc
Work Experience:
 No. of years: 1-4 years
 Must have worked on Sales Volumes of the range xxx-xxx with a distributor range of xxx-xxxx.
 Area of work: Experience required in working in retail sales environments, dealing with distributors, communicating
effectively back to the reporting manager around sales using MIS reports.
Functional Skills:
 Good knowledge of Sales , ideally in a Retail / Apparel sector.
 Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates — Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and
subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
 Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships — Developing constructive and cooperative working
relationships with Distributors, and maintaining them over time.
 Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources to ensure that
the engagement with relevant stakeholders is maintained.

Behavioral Competencies
 Must have good verbal communication
 Must have the ability to work as a part of team and collaborate with all stakeholders
 Responsible, punctual & ability to work under pressure.
Other Job Requirements:
 Explain technical product or service information to customers.
 Contact current or potential customers to promote products or services.
 Demonstrate products to consumers.
 Recommend products or services to customers.
 Answer customer questions about goods or services.
