Job Description:

The Commercial Manager will play a critical role in driving the commercial success of the company by managing and optimizing commercial activities. This position involves developing strategic plans, overseeing sales and marketing efforts, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the company's financial objectives are met. The Commercial Manager will work closely with the Commercial Head to implement commercial strategies that align with the company's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.).
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

2. Sales and Marketing Management:

  • Oversee the sales and marketing teams to ensure the achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage key accounts and ensure strong customer relationships.

3. Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage budgets for commercial activities.
  • Analyze and report on sales performance, profitability, and expenses.
  • Ensure pricing strategies are competitive and align with company objectives.

4. Contract Negotiation and Management:

  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all commercial transactions.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with contracts and commercial activities.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, operations, R&D) to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with the Commercial Head and provide regular updates on commercial activities and performance.
  • Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and industry events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field,CA or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in a commercial or business management role, preferably within [industry/sector].
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of market research and data analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
