Associate Director - GST
Job Description:
The tasks roles and responsibilities in this role would include the following-
• Assisting in the litigation aspect of Indirect Tax cases including drafting, research and other case-related work
• Coordinating indirect tax authorities and visiting the tax offices for follow-up, rectification, refund etc.
• Preparing case notes and drafting letters for submission to tax authorities and representing before them.
• Assisting in advisory projects including technical research, drafting and presentations
The expected qualifications/experience for this role would include:
• Thorough knowledge of the Indirect tax provisions.
• Zeal to know the keep oneself updated with the happenings in the indirect tax filed.
• Knowledge of Indirect tax regulations, treaties etc.
• Demonstrating innovative and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Passion for client servicing.
• Efficiency in MS Office and writing skills.
• Ownership and responsible outlook towards the role.
• Experience a minimum of six years in GST with a good law firm.
Qualification- LL.B. from a reputed University/ CA
