Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Research Analyst to join our Investment Banking team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in preparing Investment Memorandums and Pitch Books, conducting thorough Industry Research, performing detailed Financial Analysis and Financial Modelling, and delivering comprehensive Research Analysis. This role is critical in supporting our investment banking projects by providing valuable insights and data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Investment Memorandums & Pitch Books:

    • Develop comprehensive Investment Memorandums and Pitch Books to support client presentations and investment decisions.
    • Collaborate with senior bankers and clients to gather relevant information and ensure that all documents meet high standards of quality and accuracy.
  2. Industry Research:

    • Conduct in-depth industry research to identify trends, market conditions, and potential investment opportunities.
    • Analyze competitive landscapes, regulatory impacts, and economic factors that could influence client strategies and investment outcomes.
  3. Financial Analysis & Modelling:

    • Perform detailed financial analysis, including ratio analysis, cash flow analysis, and valuation techniques.
    • Build and maintain complex financial models to project company performance, assess risk, and support investment recommendations.
  4. Research Analysis:

    • Synthesize research findings into clear, concise reports and presentations for internal and client use.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on rigorous research and data analysis.
  5. Client & Internal Collaboration:

    • Work closely with investment bankers, clients, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored research solutions.
    • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and discussions to convey research findings and support strategic decision-making.
  6. Data Management & Tools:

    • Utilize various data sources, financial databases, and analytical tools to gather and analyze information.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry developments, financial news, and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 3.6 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, valuation methods, and financial analysis.
  • Proven experience in creating high-quality Investment Memorandums and Pitch Books.
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial databases and tools such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Capital IQ, etc.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
