Support Engineer
Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities
? Hands-on technical person with good debugging experience
? Troubleshooting of ongoing issues / tickets in quick time or immediate workaround.
? Follow up on defect/issues with development team / vendor and deployment of permanent fixes.
? Sanity Testing of Functional behavior of application in production deployment.
? Evaluate new features deployment from production and operation readiness perspective.
? Automation of manual tasks to reduce rework.
? Review of Service Ticket & MIS and plan for reduction of service tickets
? Performance Testing bottleneck identifications and prioritization with load / stress testing review.
? Monitoring of application infrastructure and performance thresholds in production / UAT environment
? Identifying functional gaps and technical issues that needs to be addressed before time.
? Coordinating with different stakeholders to ensure application performance are as per expected.
? Monitoring and alert setup for applications / services /server in monitoring tools.
? Regular review of Application ticket MIS & attending daily meets.
Desired Profile
Experience: 2 – 4 years
? A bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology,
information systems, computer engineering, or similar
? Prior experience in application support, or a similar role
? Excellent in communication with clients, stake holders and technical team
? Technically sounds with Database (SQL, Oracle), debugging through query analyzer, basic
knowledge of SQL queries and use of server profiler.
? Understanding about SDLC, System design and technical concepts
? Past experience at Broking firms will be preferable.
