Job Description:
  • Drive new business development in India.
  • Sourcing leads and identifying new potential clients
  • Research target companies using online and other resources
  • Obtain client information for email campaigns and direct communication
  • Contact business leads to obtain meetings through email and telephone
  • Meet clients and consult with them on their needs, and position our services accordingly (consultative selling)
  • Create proposals and conduct contract negotiation
  • Assist teams across markets and sectors on cross-selling and regional sales opportunities
  • Develop ideas on new product offerings and methods of sale
  • Identify new target markets and opportunities for the company
  • Close the sale as effectively as possible

Reporting and management responsibilities include

 

  • Achieve set KPI’s and revenue targets
  • Present accurate and timely activity and forecast reports
  • Use CRM to maintain records of leads, contacts, opportunities, proposals, and revenue

Job requirements

  • Minimum qualifications of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, or any relevant field
  • A proven track record of growing business from an established client base
  • Proven track record for closing large and mid-size companies
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in selling media/business intelligence solutions
  • Understanding of PR / Marketing Communications and contacts within the industry
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Needs to be well-versed in solution and consultative selling
  • Excellent negotiation skills
