Key Responsibilities
- Identify, onboard, and develop new retail jewellers, distributors, and jewellery chains
- Build and expand a strong B2B dealer/distribution network across regional and national markets
- Drive consistent revenue growth through new market penetration and territory expansion
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business targets
2. Key Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with key jewellery retailers and high-value clients
- Ensure repeat business through strong engagement and service
- Understand client requirements, buying patterns, and regional preferences
- Act as a single point of contact for major accounts
- Present and promote gold and diamond jewellery collections to B2B clients
- Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial terms to maximize profitability
- Drive order generation and ensure achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution from order to dispatch
- Work closely with production, merchandising, and dispatch teams
- Ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of orders
- Monitor order lifecycle: enquiry confirmation production dispatch payment
- Ensure smooth payment collections and reduce outstanding cycles
- Track market trends, customer demand, and design movements in jewellery
- Analyze competitor activities and pricing strategies
- Share actionable insights with design and production teams
- Identify opportunities for new product development
6. Exhibitions & Industry Networking
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and dealer meets
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term business relationships
- Strengthen brand presence in the jewellery B2B ecosystem
7. Sales Reporting & CRM
- Maintain accurate client database and CRM records
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
- Track performance against targets and identify improvement areas
- Monthly & quarterly B2B sales revenue
- New client acquisition (retailers / dealers onboarded)
- Order volume & repeat business ratio
- Client retention & relationship strength
- Payment collection efficiency (DSO control)
- Geographical market expansion
Required Qualifications
- Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline
- MBA in Sales / Marketing preferred
- 10 years of experience in B2B sales
- Mandatory experience in:
- Gold Jewellery Manufacturing
- Diamond Jewellery
- Jewellery Wholesale / Retail Chains
- Strong B2B sales & negotiation expertise
- Deep knowledge of gold & diamond jewellery products and market trends
- Excellent relationship management & networking skills
- Proven ability to build dealer/distribution networks
- Strong commercial acumen & target orientation
- Ability to travel extensively and manage multiple territories
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting
