Job Title: AutoCAD Designer – Solar
Experience: 2–3 Years (Solar Industry Preferred)
Job Summary
We are looking for an AutoCAD Designer with experience in the solar industry to prepare detailed drawings for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in AutoCAD and understanding of solar layouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare solar plant layouts using AutoCAD (rooftop / ground mounted)
- Create SLD (Single Line Diagram) and electrical drawings
- Design module placement and string layouts
- Prepare GA drawings, mounting structure layouts, and cable routing
- Modify drawings based on site inputs and client requirements
- Coordinate with engineering and project teams
- Maintain drawing records and revisions
- Support BOQ preparation from drawings
- Ensure drawings meet project and technical standards
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D)
- Experience in solar plant layout design
- Knowledge of rooftop solar design
- Understanding of electrical drawings & SLD
- Good coordination and communication skills
Qualification
- Diploma / BE in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil (preferred)
- AutoCAD certification is an added advantage
Experience
- 2–3 years in Solar design
- Must have worked on rooftop or ground-mounted solar projects
