Job Description:

Group Power is seeking a detail-oriented Tender Executive to manage end-to-end tendering activities for power, electrical, EPC, and infrastructure projects. The role involves identifying tenders, preparing bid documents, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely and compliant submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and track tenders from government portals, clients, and private platforms.
  • Download, analyze, and study tender documents (BOQ, technical specs, terms & conditions).
  • Prepare complete tender documents including technical, commercial, and price bids.
  • Coordinate with engineering, projects, purchase, and finance teams for inputs.
  • Prepare cost sheets, estimates, and bid summaries.
  • Ensure all tender documents are accurate and compliant with tender requirements.
  • Manage EMD, tender fees, BG, and documentation.
  • Submit tenders online/offline within deadlines.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and clarify queries with clients.
  • Maintain tender records, trackers, and MIS reports.
  • Follow up on bid status and support post-tender negotiations.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of tendering process and documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret BOQs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent coordination, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PDF tools, and e-tender portals.
  • Basic knowledge of GST, costing, and commercial terms.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate in Engineering, Commerce, or Management.
  • 1–4 years of experience in tendering (power, electrical EPC, infrastructure preferred).

Preferred

  • Experience with government & PSU tenders (GEM, eProc, state portals).
  • Knowledge of power, substation, transmission, solar, or electrical projects.
