Job Description: Field Sales Executive – Knitted Fabrics (Textiles) Company: Star Knits (Madhusudan Group) Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India Industry: Textile – Knitted Fabric Reporting To: Central Sales Manager / Head – Sales Employment Type: Full-Time About the Company Star Knits, a part of the Madhusudan Group, is a leading textile manufacturer specializing in high quality knitted fabrics. We offer a wide range of circular and Raschel knitted fabrics in various blends, GSMs, and finishes, catering to garment manufacturers and brands across India. As part of our growth strategy in South India, we are expanding our sales team and looking for a dynamic Field Sales Executive based in Bangalore to drive customer acquisition and business development. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Customer Acquisition • Identify, generate, and onboard new B2B customers for knitted fabrics across South India (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala). • Develop relationships with garment manufacturers, buying houses, fabric traders, exporters, and brands. • Conduct regular market visits and build a strong customer pipeline. 2. Sales Execution & Target Achievement • Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets. • Promote Star Knits’ range of knitted fabrics including fabric structures, blends, GSM, and technical features. • Prepare and present quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals. 3. Customer Relationship Management • Maintain strong long-term relationships with clients. • Act as the key contact person for inquiries, samples, orders, and follow-ups. • Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. 4. Market Intelligence & Reporting • Track competitor activities and market trends in the South India textile market. • Submit weekly sales reports, customer feedback, and forecasts to management. 5. Internal Coordination • Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance. • Support order execution from booking to dispatch. Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Textiles / Business / Marketing (preferred). • 2–5+ years of experience in textile or fabric field sales (knitted fabrics preferred). Key Skills • Strong communication and negotiation skills. • Good understanding of knitted fabrics and garment industry. • Willingness to travel extensively within South India. • Self-driven, target-oriented, and customer-focused. • Basic knowledge of MS Excel, email, and CRM tools. Compensation & Benefits • Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month (depending on experience). • Performance-based incentives/commission. • Travel reimbursement and sales support. • Growth opportunity within a reputed textile group.
