Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing suppliers/vendors for materials, services, and contractors required in real estate projects. The role focuses on cost optimization, timely procurement, vendor quality assurance, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support project execution.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Sourcing

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for construction materials, interiors, MEP, facilities, and other real estate requirements.

  • Identify and evaluate new vendors, contractors, and service providers.

  • Conduct market research to analyze price trends, supply risks, and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Prepare RFQs, negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms.

2. Vendor Management

  • Maintain a strong vendor network for timely and quality procurement.

  • Conduct vendor audits and performance evaluations.

  • Manage supplier agreements, SLAs, and long-term contracts.

3. Cost Control & Negotiations

  • Ensure best pricing through competitive bidding and strategic negotiations.

  • Work with finance and project teams to ensure budget adherence.

  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and optimize procurement functions.

4. Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, site engineers, and purchase teams to understand material and service requirements.

  • Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and stock availability.

  • Ensure materials reach project sites on time to avoid execution delays.

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure procurement processes follow company policy and regulatory guidelines.

  • Maintain documentation of purchase orders, contracts, vendor details, and agreements.

  • Handle dispute resolution with suppliers when required.


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Knowledge of construction materials, vendors, and sourcing channels

  • Excellent vendor management and relationship-building skills

  • Strong analytical and cost management abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, etc.)

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

  • MBA in Supply Chain/Operations (preferred)

  • 5–10 years of sourcing/procurement experience in real estate or construction industry
