Experience: 8 years in B2B sales, Business Development, Strategy.
Preferably in Solar, alternatively in Banks or Industrial sectors.


About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sales Manager to lead and manage the sales and business development functions across West Bengal. This leadership role is responsible for driving growth, formulating and executing sales strategies, and managing the entire West Bengal sales and strategy team to achieve ambitious business goals in the solar sector.


Key Responsibilities:
A. Leadership and Strategy:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales and business development strategies to drive growth.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and strategy teams across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies accordingly.
Prepare and present regular sales performance and strategy reports to senior management.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on results and continuous improvement.
B. Business Development:
Generate leads through various business development activities in assigned regions, including field visits and networking.
Engage with industry associations, government departments, and other relevant bodies to generate interest and leads, including delivering presentations to industry members.
Build relationships with banks, regional industrial offices, and industry development boards to access lists of large industries and potential clients.
Monitor and participate in relevant events, conferences, and exhibitions to maximize lead generation opportunities.
A. Sales:
Identify and engage prospective clients across India, following up on all sales leads for projects and coordinating with clients to resolve any clarifications.
Meet potential leads and conduct site visits to collect necessary information for proposal development.
Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets through effective client management and sales execution.


Qualifications and Skills:
Strong strategic planning, execution, and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales and lead generation targets.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving industry environment.
BTECH Electrical , Mechanical or Electronics With MBA preferred.
