PLC/DCS Engineer

Job Description:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced PLC/DCS Engineer to design, implement, troubleshoot,
and maintain process control systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with
major PLC and DCS platforms and will contribute to automation projects, system upgrades, and
maintenance of existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
 Design, program, and commission PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and DCS
(Distributed Control Systems) for industrial process control.
 Develop and modify control logic using platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, Allen-
Bradley, etc.
 Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to ensure reliable plant operations.
 Collaborate with instrumentation, electrical, and process engineers to implement
automation solutions.
 Create documentation: control logic diagrams, functional design specs,loop diagrams.
 Participate in FAT/SAT (Factory/ Site Acceptance Tests) and system validation.
 Monitor system performance and optimize efficiency and reliability.
 Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
 Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.

Qualifications & Skills:
 Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or related engineering field.
 2–3 years of hands-on experience in PLC/DCS programming, configuration, and
commissioning.
 Strong knowledge of control systems architecture and communication protocols (Modbus,
Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC, etc.).
 Experience in HMI/SCADA development.
 Ability to read and interpret electrical and P&ID drawings.
 Familiarity with industry standards.
 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 Willingness to travel to site locations.
