Job Description:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, tracking, and coordinating pharmaceutical laboratory projects across departments such as R&D, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, and Production. The role ensures timely execution of tasks, documentation, and compliance with industry standards and project deadlines.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of pharmaceutical lab projects (R&D, method development, validation, stability studies, etc.).
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project timelines, Gantt charts, and status reports.
  • Ensure alignment between QC, QA, R&D, regulatory, and manufacturing departments for project deliverables.
  • Track documentation such as method validation protocols, analytical reports, stability data, and change controls.
  • Follow up with cross-functional teams to ensure timely submission of data and documents.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, reviews, and status updates with internal teams and clients (if applicable).
  • Maintain project trackers and communicate updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams for availability of lab supplies, instruments, and reagents.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ICH, and regulatory guidelines in all project-related activities.
  • Support preparation for internal and external audits or regulatory inspections.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory submissions (e.g., ANDA, DMF, CTD modules).

✅ Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field.

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in a project coordination or documentation role within a pharmaceutical or analytical laboratory environment.

Skills:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project tracking software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, JIRA).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure.
