Job Summary:
Sarathy Geotech Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong
background in geotechnical engineering to oversee and manage on land engineering projects. The
ideal candidate will possess an M.E./MTech in Geotechnical Engineering and have a proven track
record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project objectives and
deliverables.
Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet deadlines.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental
guidelines.
Technical Expertise
Conduct site investigations and provide geotechnical analysis for foundation design, slope
stability, soil mechanics, and other related aspects.
Review and approve geotechnical designs, drawings, and reports prepared by the team.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Team Leadership
Lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to ensure
seamless project execution.
Foster a collaborative work environment and resolve conflicts effectively.
Client and Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status
and addressing concerns promptly.
Prepare and deliver presentations, technical reports, and proposals to stakeholders.
Budget and Resource Management
Manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
Optimize resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Quality Assurance and Risk Management
Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards in all project phases.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Education
M.E./M.Tech/ M S in Geotechnical Engineering (mandatory).
Experience
8+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with at least 3 years in a project
management role.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in geotechnical engineering standards and Industry practices.
Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS codes, Eurocodes, ASTM).
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Zoho).
Soft Skills
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Must be willing to travel Pan India and Abroad for the meetings / execution as and when
required.
Certifications (Preferred)
PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
