LCMS Analyst
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and non-routine analysis using LC-MS or LC-MS/MS techniques for pharmaceutical, biological, or chemical samples.

Conduct method development, optimization, and validation as per ICH or regulatory guidelines.

Prepare standards, reagents, QC samples, and analytical test samples according to protocols and SOPs.

Operate and maintain LC-MS instruments (e.g., Agilent, Waters, Thermo, Sciex).

Interpret MS spectra, process data using specialized software (e.g., MassLynx, Analyst, Xcalibur, OpenLab, Compound Discoverer).

Conduct pharmacokinetic (PK), metabolite identification, or impurity profiling studies if applicable.

Document all analytical work in accordance with GLP/GMP and data integrity standards (ALCOA+ principles).

Perform instrument calibration, system suitability tests, and basic troubleshooting.

Prepare and review analytical documentation including protocols, reports, and SOPs.

Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH, FDA, EMA, ISO 17025) for all lab activities.
