Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Oversee attendance, payroll coordination, and leave management
  • Support performance management and employee appraisal processes
  • Handle employee relations, grievance redressal, and disciplinary procedures
  • Coordinate training and development programs
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Promote employee engagement and a healthy workplace culture

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • MBA in HR (preferred but not mandatory)

Experience:

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the diamond
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment, HR operations, and employee engagement
  • Experience of supporting senior managers with the ability to quickly establish credibility and respect.
  • Previous experience of managing a team, with the ability to recognise the value and responsibilities of the team, to support and develop the team and to lead them in an inspiring and professional manner.



Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and employee benefits




Knowledge:

  • Understanding of HR policies, practices, and labor laws
  • Familiarity with the jewelry or diamond industry (preferred)
  • Awareness of compliance, health & safety regulations, and employee welfare
