Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Oversee attendance, payroll coordination, and leave management
- Support performance management and employee appraisal processes
- Handle employee relations, grievance redressal, and disciplinary procedures
- Coordinate training and development programs
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Promote employee engagement and a healthy workplace culture
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- MBA in HR (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience:
- 2 to 4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in the diamond
- Hands-on experience with recruitment, HR operations, and employee engagement
- Experience of supporting senior managers with the ability to quickly establish credibility and respect.
- Previous experience of managing a team, with the ability to recognise the value and responsibilities of the team, to support and develop the team and to lead them in an inspiring and professional manner.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Knowledge of payroll systems and employee benefits
Knowledge:
- Understanding of HR policies, practices, and labor laws
- Familiarity with the jewelry or diamond industry (preferred)
- Awareness of compliance, health & safety regulations, and employee welfare
