Service Engineer
Job Description:
To acknowledge receipt of the Products from Customers received for service
Trouble Shoot the problems reported by the customer and file the service report
Repair the Product following the Repair Instructions/ Training inputs
Test the repaired product for performance as per the repair instructions
Pack the repaired product properly and make it ready for dispatch
Maintaining proper service records for each product that is serviced in the service centre
Visit Customer Sites/ factories to attend to complaints in functioning of the product and
operation of the product.
Provide Training to new employees on Servicing / Operation of the Machines
Follow the processes laid out for collecting the Spare parts from stores
Ensure that the defective parts are properly stored for LTAG inspection or return to
customer if the case is outside warranty period.
Report any manufacturing defects or repeated failures in products to the Service Manager.
Deliver/collect the Products to/from the Customer premises whenever required.
Focussed on the assigned tasks and be self driven.
Ability to work in Team and follow instructions of the Team Leader.
Abide by the Policies of the company and ensure that the team members also follow the same
and report any deviations to the management.
