Job Description:

Job Title: QHSE & Compliance Manager

Experience: 7–12 years in QHSE roles within civil engineering, testing, or infrastructure sectors8

Location: Bangalore

 

Role Details: To establish, maintain, and continually improve the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental systems of the organization. This role ensures alignment with ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety), and NABL requirements for lab operations, thereby securing operational excellence, audit readiness, and a culture of compliance and safety.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Quality Management (ISO 9001)
  • Implement and maintain QMS documentation, SOPs, and quality control workflows
  • Lead internal audits, customer feedback loops, and corrective/preventive action programs
    1. Health & Safety Oversight (ISO 45001)
  • Conduct safety risk assessments, incident investigations, and lead awareness training
  • Develop emergency preparedness plans and enforce PPE and safety protocols
    1. NABL Accreditation
  • Oversee technical documentation and lab compliance procedures
  • Monitor calibration, test validation, uncertainty budgets, and PT/ILC performance
    1. Audit & Training Management
  • Conduct QHSE onboarding and refresher training for staff
  • Drive readiness for certification, surveillance, and client audits
    1. Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Maintain dashboards and KPIs across quality, safety, and lab performance
  • Present QHSE performance in monthly/quarterly reviews

Key Skills & Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, NABL standards & audit cycles
  • Experience in test lab documentation, QMS implementation, and safety governance
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams for compliance and improvement
  • Effective trainer and internal auditor
  • Certification in Lead Auditor (preferred)
