Job Description:
  • Responsible for implementing & executing sales & marketing Strategy & action plan , in Eastern Region , to enhance  business volumes, multifold, & growth of the WELDY range of hot air guns / hand tools  with in the allocated region, in accordance with India Specific Strategy
  • Experienced in identifying & appointing prospective dealers and distributors, and developing secondary & tertiary distribution channel & generating new avenues of business for WELDY Heat Guns , thereby scaling up sales & improving the market share in the Eastern States of West Bengal , Odisha, Chhattisgarh , Jharkhand, Bihar & Assam
  • Evaluating Market Dynamics to position WELDY Range of Hot Air Guns , implementing & formulating sales & marketing strategies, and supporting dealers & distributors with necessary information training & marketing material & instruments
  • Proven track record of developing relationships with distributors & dealers by identifying the strength of each partner & coordinating with internal team & with dealers/ distributors for effective business development
  • Represent the company in exhibitions and shows in the respective regions
  • Ensuring the success of marketing strategies, solutions & promotional plans, laid out by the organization, & expanding market share exponentially by venturing into new market & territories
  • Work Closely with internal team & other team members , expand & improve  skill levels in order to meet future needs
  • Keep a tab on the prospective customers who intend to  do  white / private label of Hot air guns and informing it to the Management
  • Closely monitor and anticipate industry and market trends that will aid product improvement & development
  • Providing sales support, by resolving Distributor or territory conflicts, Organize marketing activities like Road Shows, Dealer Meet , Service Training  and measure territory dynamics and effectiveness
  • Collecting Market intelligence, competitor information & submitting the same to management
  • Preparation of Monthly sales Plan, Monthly Pre Journey Plan , Collection Plan & ensuring same is adhered to.
  • Willing to travel extensively within the allocated region to visit Distributors & Channel Partners
  • Reports to Sales Head- Weldy, INDIA

 

Managerial Roles

·         Sales Analysis for respective Region.

·         Identifying the potential markets and appointing distributors and focusing our resources to these areas.

·         Preparation of the Sales Plan and effectively implementing the same.

·         Organizing Promotional Activities such as Exhibitions, Road shows etc.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

 

·         A competent sales & marketing professional with 5-7 years of experience in sales & marketing of industrial products, Channel/dealer management , relationship management , Strategic planning & sales Promotion

·         High technical aptitude preferably with power tools or small industrial Equipment

·         Proven background in conducting competition environment and market analysis, thus helping  in  strategic decision making

·         Ability to lead technical discussions with customer and application-oriented solutions

·         Experience in  selecting and appointing Channel partners  and adept in taking ownership of the situation

·         Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to plan and execute sales and business development strategies efficiently and productively
