Job Description – Marketing Manager - Chennai

 

Strategy Development:

  • Creating and implementing effective marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Own Social media management, from strategy, content creation, execution till monitoring, reporting and optimization
  • Deploying successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Drive brand on social platforms on LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram thereby helping in creating in a consistent voice
  • Manage & execute tradeshow, workshops, and product launch to create brand awareness, drive lead generation and lead to opportunity conversion

 

 

Campaign Management:

  • Overseeing marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Produce webinars to engage customers, better understand their pain points and the topics most relevant to them, offer them bite-size learning they can apply on their jobs abetting to conversions
  • Track performance of all campaigns with standard reports
  • Create and execute campaigns and creatives for all key categories both ATL & BTL
  • Implementation of effective Google Ad words campaign elements to generate MQLs and drive conversions
  • Optimize keyword phrases to increase organic search traffic
  • Responding to customer feedback and enquiries received through the digital platforms

 

Team Leadership:

  • Managing and guiding the team
  • Be in charge of marketing budget and allocate/invest funds wisely
  • Coordinate across departments and other regional offices for any creative requirement

 

 

Market Research:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to optimally drive product awareness across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborating with writers and content creators to develop engaging marketing materials.
  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
  • Overseeing the product launch process, including creating timelines, managing budgets, and coordinating with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to grasp and present our product’s value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers’ problems.
  • measure product performance, campaign success, and customer feedback, making adjustments as needed based on their analysis.

 

 

 

 

Brand Management:

 

  • Ensuring consistent brand messaging and maintaining a strong public image. Design brand communication strategies and use the right media to communicate them
  • Ensuring brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications.

 

Performance Analysis:

 

  • Measuring and analyzing the performance of marketing initiatives to optimize future campaign
  • Manage digital campaign assets, landing page development and content, and tracking
  • Manage social media budgets and optimally utilizing it for effective marketing initiatives
  • Translate technical information into engaging, differentiating messages that address diverse customer groups and move them effectively through the buyer journey
  • Deliver optimization and reporting of results against metrics, including use of web analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Email data reports, call volume, leads generated and conversions
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
  • Create and execute monthly emailers and track the performance to optimize it for better results
  • Maintain and monitor the performance of E-commerce website. Manage all advertising and promotional activities
  • Manage PR activities: press releases, success stories, editorials and interviews
  • Visit local markets to gain insights and also find potential dealers for Weldy products

  TRAINING / TECHNICAL DIRECTION / EDUCATIONAL LEVEL

 

MBA in Marketing /  MA Mass Communication

10plus years of work experience

 

 

 

PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE / ADDITIONAL SKILLS

 

 

Knowledge of designing softwares is a plus

Understanding of e-commerce business

Hands on experience with e-mail campaigning tools

Understanding of Digital Marketing Tools & Concepts

·         Minimum 10 years of strong experience in marketing / corporate communication

·         Creativity and brand management enthusiast

·         Tech fluency - can transform ideas into digital space with ease

·         Excellent verbal and written communication

·         Ability to manage multiple project independently

·         Eye for detail and result oriented

·         Knowledge of creative tool - Adobe Creative Cloud

·         Deep understanding of digital marketing across Google Ad words, Facebook advertising, Instagram advertising, YouTube advertising, Affiliate marketing, Retargeting networks, Web tracking/attribution, Performance marketing tools (such as Google Analytics, MailChimp, Webengage), etc.

·         Experience of executing growth hacks in both offline & online digital marketing platforms across paid and organic channels
