Job Description:

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive to join our team in the building materials sector. The Sales Executive will be responsible for selling ceramic tiles, marbles, and granite to clients. This role requires a strong ability to establish relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:

    • Promote and sell a wide range of building materials, including ceramic tiles, marbles, and granite, to both retail and commercial customers.
    • Identify potential customers in the construction and real estate sectors, and build a strong network of clients.
    • Generate leads and convert them into sales by understanding customer needs and providing suitable product recommendations.
    • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and site visits to prospective clients.
  2. Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing after-sales support and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
    • Understand and anticipate customer needs, offering personalized solutions to meet those requirements.
  3. Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

    • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings.
    • Monitor competitor pricing, products, and promotional strategies to help adjust sales tactics.
    • Provide insights to the management team regarding customer preferences and market demands.
  4. Sales Targets and Reporting:

    • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as set by the Sales Manager.
    • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and maintain customer databases.
    • Track sales performance and provide regular updates to management regarding the status of opportunities and accounts.
  5. Product Knowledge and Training:

    • Keep up-to-date with product specifications, benefits, and features.
    • Attend product training sessions to effectively communicate product value to clients.
    • Educate customers on the various types of building materials and their applications.
  6. Negotiation and Closing:

    • Lead negotiations with clients on pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
    • Close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.
    • Handle order processing and coordination with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery.

Key Qualifications and Skills.

  • Experience:
    Minimum of 1 years of experience in sales, preferably in the building materials, construction, or interior design industries.
    Experience in selling ceramic tiles, marbles, granite, or related products is a plus.

  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
    • In-depth knowledge of building materials, including their uses, advantages, and applications.
