Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Architect to lead our cloud
iniƟaƟves, focusing on security governance, networking, provisioning, and compliance with
quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecture design,
risk management, team building, and budget responsibility. You will play a pivotal role in
shaping our cloud strategy and ensuring business continuity.

iniƟaƟves, focusing on security governance, networking, provisioning, and compliance with
quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecture design,
risk management, team building, and budget responsibility. You will play a pivotal role in
shaping our cloud strategy and ensuring business continuity.
Key ResponsibiliƟes:
Cloud Architecture Design: Design and implement secure, scalable, and efficient
cloud architectures on MicrosoŌ Azure, ensuring alignment with organizaƟonal goals
and compliance with industry standards.
Security Governance: Establish security governance frameworks to ensure
compliance with relevant legislaƟon and best pracƟces. Implement security
measures using Azure security tools, including Azure Security Centre and Azure
SenƟnel.
Networking: Design and manage Azure networking soluƟons, including Virtual
Networks, VPNs, and ExpressRoute, ensuring secure and efficient connecƟvity
between cloud and on-premises environments.
Provisioning and AutomaƟon: Lead provisioning efforts using Infrastructure as Code
(IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager, YAML and BiCeps to automate deployments
and opƟmize resource allocaƟon.
Quality Standards and Best PracƟces: Ensure adherence to quality standards and
best pracƟces in all cloud architecture acƟviƟes. Stay updated on relevant legislaƟon
to maintain compliance across cloud environments.
Track Architecture Metrics: Monitor and analyse architecture performance metrics
to drive conƟnuous improvement. Report findings and recommendaƟons to senior
management.
Recruitment and Team Building: ParƟcipate in recruitment processes to build a
skilled cloud architecture team. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their
skills and knowledge.
Budget Responsibility: Manage budget for cloud iniƟaƟves, ensuring cost-effecƟve
resource allocaƟon and adherence to financial constraints.
Risk Management: IdenƟfy and assess risks associated with cloud soluƟons,
implemenƟng strategies to miƟgate risks and ensure business conƟnuity.
Business ConƟnuity Process ImplementaƟon: Develop and maintain business
conƟnuity plans to ensure minimal disrupƟon in case of incidents, ensuring
compliance with organizaƟonal policies.
QualificaƟons:
EducaƟon: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, InformaƟon Technology, or a
related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 12-18 years of experience in soŌware development, and 3+
years as cloud architecture, parƟcularly with MicrosoŌ Azure with PAAS.
CerƟficaƟons: Azure SoluƟons Architect Expert or equivalent cerƟficaƟons are
strongly preferred.
Technical Skills:
o Proficient in Azure services (e.g., Azure Compute, Storage, Networking).
o Strong understanding of cloud security and governance frameworks (e.g.,
NIST, ISO 27001).
o Experience in networking design and management on Azure.
o Familiarity with automaƟon and provisioning tools (e.g., BiCeps, YAML).
o Knowledge of quality standards, legislaƟon, and best pracƟces related to
cloud compuƟng.
