Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Management:

   • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers.
   • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with vendors.
   • Conduct supplier audits and assess quality and reliability.

2. Material and Equipment Procurement:

   • Source materials, parts, and equipment required for production or projects.
   • Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production or project delays.
   • Work closely with the engineering and production teams to understand material requirements.
   • Ensure all procured items meet quality and technical standards.

3. Cost Optimization:

   • Analyze pricing trends and the cost structure of materials.
   • Develop strategies for cost savings and reduce procurement expenses.
   • Identify alternative suppliers or materials to optimize costs without compromising quality.

4. Inventory Management:

   • Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of materials.
   • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for storage and transportation.
   • Minimize inventory costs while ensuring availability for production needs.

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering materials, parts, and standards.
