Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in Tally, GST, TDS, and the preparation of Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss Accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and preparing financial statements for management and statutory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Tally.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss Accounts.
- Reconcile bank and cash accounts regularly and maintain proper documentation.

GST Compliance:
- Manage GST (Goods and Services Tax) calculations, and ensure timely filing.
- Reconcile input and output GST and ensure compliance with the latest tax laws and updates.
- Ensure proper maintenance of GST-related records and documentation for audit purposes.

TDS Compliance:
- Calculate and deduct TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) as per applicable rates and regulations.
- Prepare and file TDS returns (e.g., Form 24Q, Form 26Q) on time and ensure proper compliance.
- Maintain TDS certificates and related records for easy retrieval during audits or assessments.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Oversee and process vendor invoices, track payments, and maintain accounts payable records.
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of dues from customers.
- Handle follow-up for overdue payments and manage the resolution of discrepancies.

Taxation:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of income tax returns and other statutory filings.
- Ensure timely remittance of TDS and GST payments to the tax authorities.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Prepare financial analysis reports for management review, including variance analysis and cash flow statements.
- Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations for cost savings or process improvements.

Ad-hoc Financial Support:
- Provide support to the finance team in various ad-hoc accounting tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:

Experience:
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting, with hands-on experience using Tally.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in GST (filing returns, reconciliation, etc.) and TDS (deduction, returns filing, etc.).
- Experience in preparing Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Accounts, and handling general accounting functions.

Skills:
- Expertise in Tally ERP and other accounting software.
- Strong understanding of GST and TDS regulations and tax laws in India.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and statutory compliance.
- Proficient in MS Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and data management.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of other accounting tools or software is a plus.
- Experience in income tax returns filing and other corporate taxation matters.
- Exposure to financial audits and internal controls.
