Garment Sales Manger
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy & Planning: ○ Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets. ○ Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitors to position the company’s products effectively. ○ Set sales targets and performance goals for the sales team. 2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: ○ Identify and approach potential clients, including retailers, wholesalers, and brands. ○ Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business. ○ Negotiate sales contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with clients. 3. Team Leadership & Development: ○ Manage and lead the sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure targets are met. ○ Conduct regular training sessions to improve the team’s product knowledge and sales skills. ○ Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. 4. Market Expansion & Business Development: ○ Explore new markets and sales channels to expand the company’s reach. ○ Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the company’s products. ○ Build partnerships with distributors and agents to increase sales. 5. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: ○ Develop sales forecasts and budgets to guide business planning. ○ Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends. ○ Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth. 6. Product Knowledge & Promotion: ○ Stay updated on the company’s garment product lines and manufacturing capabilities. ○ Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. ○ Effectively communicate product benefits and features to customers and the sales team. 7. Customer Service & Complaint Resolution: ○ Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. ○ Handle customer complaints and resolve issues related to product quality or delivery. ○ Implement customer feedback to improve sales strategies and product offerings. 8. Pricing & Profitability: ○ Monitor market prices and adjust strategies to maintain competitive pricing. ○ Work with production and finance departments to ensure pricing meets profitability targets. ○ Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products to existing customers. Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. ● 5+ years of experience in garment sales or a related role. ● Strong knowledge of garment products, production processes, and industry trends. ● Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. ● Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets. Preferred Skills: ● Experience managing a sales team. ● Knowledge of domestic and international garment markets. ● Proficiency in sales CRM software and MS Office. ● Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mind
