Job Title: Export Sales Manager - Home Furnishing Fabrics
Department: Sales
Reports To: Head of Sales

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Export Sales Manager specializing in home furnishing fabrics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding and managing international sales opportunities, building strong relationships with overseas clients, and driving revenue growth in global markets. The role involves identifying new market opportunities, leading negotiations, and ensuring the smooth delivery of products, while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy & Market Expansion:

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand export sales in target international markets.
    • Identify and pursue new customers and market segments to increase the client base.
    • Conduct in-depth market analysis to uncover emerging opportunities, monitor trends, and track competitor activities in the home furnishing fabrics industry.
  2. Client Relationship Management:

    • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with international clients, distributors, and agents.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for international buyers, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and resolving customer concerns.
    • Travel internationally to meet clients, attend trade shows, and strengthen business relationships.
  3. Sales Negotiation & Contract Management:

    • Lead contract negotiations, covering pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and payment conditions to ensure profitable business deals.
    • Prepare and manage export sales contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies, international trade regulations, and local laws.
    • Resolve disputes and address issues that arise during the contract period, ensuring smooth operations.
  4. Order Management & Coordination:

    • Collaborate with the production, design, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders, meeting all specifications.
    • Oversee the order lifecycle from production to final delivery, ensuring all customer requirements are met with high accuracy.
    • Ensure export documentation is complete, including customs declarations, invoices, certificates of origin, and other required paperwork.
  5. New Product Introduction:

    • Work closely with the design and product development teams to introduce new products tailored to the needs of international markets.
    • Present new collections to clients, emphasizing key features and benefits.
    • Collect customer feedback and provide insights to the product development team for future product innovations.
  6. Sales Forecasting & Reporting:

    • Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets to support production planning and resource allocation.
    • Monitor sales performance and generate regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
    • Identify and implement strategies to improve sales performance based on insights gathered from market trends and customer needs.
  7. Team Leadership:

    • Manage and mentor a team of sales executives, setting clear targets and providing guidance to achieve individual and team goals.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, offering coaching and training to enhance team capabilities and productivity.
  8. Trade Shows & Business Development:

    • Represent the company at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote home furnishing fabrics and identify new business opportunities.
    • Build a network of industry professionals, fostering relationships that open doors to new sales prospects.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to develop and execute competitive strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, Textile Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in export sales, with a focus on home textiles or furnishing fabrics.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the home furnishing fabrics industry, export documentation, and international trade regulations.
  • Skills:
    • Proven track record in export sales, with a demonstrated ability to expand market presence and drive revenue growth.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients across diverse cultural backgrounds.
    • Proficiency in export procedures, incoterms, and compliance regulations.
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
