Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guide to accompany clients on both domestic and international tours, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience. The Tour Guide will be responsible for managing the itinerary, providing engaging and informative commentary, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that involves a combination of logistics management, customer service, and cultural interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:

Tour Management & Logistics:
- Accompany clients on domestic and international tours, ensuring all aspects of the itinerary are followed.
- Coordinate and manage transportation, accommodations, and meals for tour groups, adhering to the schedule.
- Ensure all tour logistics are running smoothly, and address any unexpected changes or challenges.
- Handle bookings, reservations, and related travel details in advance and on the go.

Client Interaction & Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting clients with any requests or needs during the tour.
- Build rapport with clients and create a friendly, informative, and welcoming atmosphere.
- Offer personal insights into the local culture, history, and landmarks, delivering rich and engaging storytelling during tours.
- Offer local advice on customs, culture, shopping, and dining.

Itinerary Management:
- Ensure that the tour itinerary is adhered to while being flexible enough to accommodate adjustments when necessary.
- Manage group movements, including transportation and hotel check-ins, to maintain a smooth flow throughout the day.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure all bookings (flights, accommodation, transport) are confirmed and in order.

Cultural & Educational Expertise:
- Provide in-depth, accurate historical, cultural, and geographical commentary to clients.
- Offer context for various destinations and activities, highlighting significant landmarks, museums, and historical sites.
- Adapt commentary to suit the diverse interests and needs of clients from different backgrounds.

Safety & Emergency Management:
- Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of clients throughout the tour.
- Be prepared to handle emergencies, and assist in medical or other urgent situations when needed.
- Ensure that all clients follow local rules, regulations, and guidelines, especially when visiting protected or sensitive areas.

Administrative Support:
- Assist with client check-ins and departure processes.
- Ensure that clients have all necessary travel documentation (e.g., visas, tickets, etc.).
- Collect feedback and ensure a high level of client satisfaction, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.

Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members (drivers, local guides, tour coordinators) to ensure an excellent client experience.
- Provide feedback on tour activities, accommodations, and overall customer satisfaction to the management team.
Qualifications and Skills:

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, History, Geography, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a tour guide (minimum 1 years for tours).
- Experience with group management, itinerary planning, and travel logistics.

Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and inform clients.
- Deep knowledge of local history, culture, landmarks, and geography.
- Ability to manage logistics and maintain an organized schedule.
- Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Fluency in [language(s)] (preferred, especially for international tours).
- Ability to adapt to diverse clients’ needs and backgrounds.
- Competence in handling travel documentation, bookings, and other logistical details.
