Job Description:

Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Showroom Sales Executive with a background in selling building materials. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a solid understanding of building materials, and a proven track record in showroom sales. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing customer relationships, and providing expert advice on our range of products.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction & Sales:
Welcome and engage with customers visiting the showroom, understand their needs, and provide expert advice on suitable building materials.

Product Knowledge:
Maintain thorough knowledge of the company’s building material products, including their features, applications, and technical specifications, to effectively assist customers in making informed decisions.

Sales Target Achievement:
Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets, upselling and cross-selling relevant products to increase overall revenue.

Quotation & Order Processing:
Prepare accurate quotes based on customer requirements, process sales orders, and ensure timely follow-up on potential leads.

Showroom Maintenance:
Ensure the showroom is well-organized, products are displayed attractively, and promotional materials are up-to-date to enhance the customer experience.

Inventory Coordination:
Coordinate with the warehouse and inventory team to ensure the availability of stock, monitor product levels, and keep customers informed of delivery timelines.

Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by offering excellent service, addressing inquiries, handling complaints, and following up on post-sale services.

Market & Competitor Awareness:
Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings in building materials to provide better insights and recommendations to customers.

Requirements:

Education:

Any Graduate

Experience:
Experience in showroom sales, specifically in the building materials industry.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Knowledge of building materials and their applications.
  • Proficiency in using sales and inventory software (CRM experience is a plus).
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
