JOB ROLE - SENIOR VIDEO EDITOR As we expand our horizon, we are on the look out for individuals who share the same zeal and enthusiasm to document human emotions through Wedding & Event films. Job Overview: As a Senior Video Editor at Framed Memoirs, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling and emotionally resonant wedding/event videos for our clients. Your expertise in video editing and storytelling will be essential in crafting beautiful narratives that capture the essence of a special occasion. You will lead a team of video editors, collaborate with cinematographers, directors, and work closely with clients to deliver high-quality wedding films that exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities: Video Editing: Use your advanced video editing skills to transform raw footage into captivating and polished wedding videos. Apply creative transitions, color grading, visual effects, and audio enhancements to ensure the videos are visually stunning and emotionally engaging.

Storytelling: Understand the clients' preferences and desired themes, and use your storytelling abilities to craft cohesive narratives that reflect the essence of their love story and wedding day. Organise footage into a seamless sequence, effectively communicating the emotions, events, and highlights of the wedding. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of video editors, providing guidance, feedback, and training to ensure consistent quality and adherence to company standards. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages creativity and professional growth. Client Collaboration: Work closely with our team and directly with clients to understand their vision and expectations for their wedding video. Communicate effectively to manage client feedback and revisions, ensuring the final product exceeds their satisfaction.

Quality Control: Maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure all video projects meet the company's high standards for content, visual appeal, and technical precision. Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software, tools, and industry trends to optimise the editing process

and deliver innovative videos. Project Management: Efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and ensuring timely delivery of final videos to clients. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Video Editing, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a video editor with an experience of at least 2 years along with a portfolio showcasing exceptional video editing skills (not genre specific) Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Da Vinci resolve & Adobe Premiere Pro

Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression settings for various platforms and delivery requirements. Comprehensive knowledge of Color grading, visual effects, audio mixing, and other post-production techniques. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of video editors effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, photographers, and other team members. Keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards throughout the editing process.

Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. A passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of the emotional impact of video content. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
