Job Description:

Job Summary:
The Civil Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, and management of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves working closely with clients, architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are executed smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction Supervision:

Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to designs, specifications, and safety standards.
Monitor progress on site, including quality control and schedule adherence.
Resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.

Cost Estimation and Budget Management:

Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects.
Monitor expenses and ensure projects are completed within the allocated budget.
Recommend cost-effective solutions and adjustments as needed.

Site Investigations and Surveys:

Conduct site inspections, surveys, and investigations to assess conditions and feasibility.
Analyze data from surveys, reports, maps, and other information to plan projects.

Client and Stakeholder Coordination:

Liaise with clients, contractors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
Present project updates, proposals, and progress reports to clients and stakeholders.
Manage relationships with all project stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all engineering activities comply with legal regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Conduct quality assurance checks and inspections to ensure the integrity and durability of structures.

Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and records.
Submit regular progress reports to management and clients.
Document any changes to designs or project scope.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: 0.6-1 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in a construction or infrastructure environment.

Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering design software.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
