Job Description:
Job Purpose
Manage the human and technical resources in plant, optimizing quality, costs, delivery and productivity and also lead the continuous improvement and projects. Organize and coordinate activities between operational and administrative areas in order to ensure goals are achieved. This role will include overall responsibility for production output, facilities and H&S. As we increase in size, the role and responsibilities of this position are likely to increase and develop.
Key Tasks
Manage the manufacturing & facilities team including managing output, quality, maintenance / commercial activities and people management.
Contribute & implement to the rolling strategic plan for Operations.
HSE responsibility.
Interface with Design, Project Engineering, Quality, Sales & Accounts functions within.
Contribute to the development of the businesses to deliver stable products processes.
Scheduling production planning as per the machine capacity including moulding and post moulding activities.
Deliver the right product in the right quantity and -at the right time.
Keep the plant healthy and safely. Maintaining proper housekeeping & cleanness.
Training of the manpower to carry out different operations in manufacturing process
Minimize losses during manufacturing process and final packing.
Ensuring Internal Customer satisfaction.
Coordinating for mould trial as and when necessary.
Define Measurement Analysis Improvement and control.
Reduce MTTR & Increase MTBF and increase productivity
Ensure implementation of Quality Management System at all levels.
Monitor and deliver plant KPI’s.
Key Skills
Experience of working with Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding & Injection Blow moulding industry.
Strong problem solving skills (containment & counter-measure).
Strong experience of operations management (including expediting, lead-time reduction, inventory management)
Manufacturing Engineering (including plant layout, waste elimination, continuous improvement).
Communication, influencing, negotiating and assertiveness.
Quality management / delivering Customer requirements.
People management.
PC literate with Words, Excel & PowerPoint skills.

Essential Qualifications: Graduate Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with more than 15-20 years of experience. A Diploma in Plastic Packaging from CIPET would be an advantage.
Other Duties: Specialist projects to support the business requirements of the organization. In addition, you will be prepared to carry out any other reasonable duties requested.
