Job Description:
Designation-Manager/ Deputy Manager
Location -Kolkata
Must have:
- 8-10 years of experience. Out of that 5-7 years of experience in Fabrics/ Trims
- Has to be from textile background
- Exposure in FR can be a plus
Role:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for textiles and raw materials.
- Identify and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to meet quality and delivery standards.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams for seamless supply chain operations.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock.
- Prepare and analyze reports on sourcing activities and supplier performance.
- Lead and mentor sourcing team for continuous improvement.
- Handle escalations and resolve issues related to sourcing and procurement.
