Job description for a Sales Manager (Room Sales):-

  • Drive room sales and revenue generation through proactive selling and negotiation.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and online travel agents (OTAs).
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Collaborate with revenue management to optimize room inventory and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process
  • Train and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Track sales performance metrics and prepare sales reports for management review.
  • This role requires strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a results-driven approach to achieve business objectives in the competitive hotel industry.
