Job description for a Sales Manager (Room Sales):-
- Drive room sales and revenue generation through proactive selling and negotiation.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and online travel agents (OTAs).
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
- Collaborate with revenue management to optimize room inventory and pricing strategies.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and presentations to prospective clients.
- Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales process
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Track sales performance metrics and prepare sales reports for management review.
- This role requires strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a results-driven approach to achieve business objectives in the competitive hotel industry.
