Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant proficient in Tally to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, producing financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting transactions using Tally software.
Prepare financial statements and reports on a regular basis.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
Process invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy in financial records.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper accounting procedures are followed.
Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably with experience in Tally.
Proficiency in Tally software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
CPA certification (preferred but not required).
