Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager specializing in
fittings to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and
business development within the fittings market, both domestically and internationally. This
role requires technical knowledge about fittings, the ability to procure from third parties, and a
proven track record in driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand market presence
and achieve sales targets for fittings.
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring customer
satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Source and procure fittings from third-party suppliers as needed to meet customer
requirements.
Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and industry
developments to inform business strategies.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of high-quality fittings
at competitive prices.
Provide technical expertise and support to clients, helping them understand product
specifications and applications.
Prepare and present business development reports, sales forecasts, and performance
analyses to senior management.
To create effective promotional materials and campaigns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development and sales within the fittings industry.
Strong understanding of domestic and international markets for fittings.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to independently manage and drive business growth initiatives.
Technical knowledge of fittings, including specifications, applications, and procurement
processes.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field is
preferred but not mandatory.
Additional Information:
The role is based in Lower Parel, and the candidate will be required to travel as
necessary to meet clients and attend industry events.
