JOB DESCRIPTION FOR INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

HIRING COMPANY NAME: ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIAL STORES, Since 1976

TYPE OF BUSINESS: Manufacturing of Bolts, Nuts, Screws, Washers

LOCATION: TIKIAPARA, HOWRAH

HIRING DATE: Immediate

Responsibilities

1. Maintain the entire stock of above 3000 SKUs. Regular re-conciliation of physical stock with

the theoretical stock.

2. Dispatch of all orders in a timely fashion.

3. Daily entry of stock needs to be done along with GRN.

4. Maintain the Stock zone-wise.

5. Regular basic inspection of items, including packing.

6. Provide daily, weekly, monthly reports as required for stock.

7. Coordinate with all Job workers, maintain their WIP and prepare monthly statements.

8. Based on the historical data, provide report on how much inventory needs to be maintained

for regular items. Maintain minimum stock to reduce inventory holding cost.

9. Depending on the company’s need, you might be asked to do tasks. However, those tasks

will be within your expertise level.

10. You will be provided a team of 3-5 people to achieve the above tasks. It shall be your

responsibility to manage them and the entire inventory.

Skill sets required

1. Logical understanding

2. Ability to manage a team. The candidate shall be provided with junior employees for data

entry, routine inspection, field person, but should knowledge of all of them

3. Ability to sell stock in the market and maintain good rapport with customers

4. Excellent with Excel

5. Ability to use ERP
