Job Summary: As an AI Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining artificial intelligence solutions to solve complex business problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration, design algorithms, and deploy AI models that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and innovation within the organization. Your expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and data analysis will drive strategic initiatives and enable data-driven decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements for AI solutions.
2. Research, design, and develop machine learning algorithms and models to address specific business challenges.
3. Implement AI solutions using programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, along with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
4. Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training/validation to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
5. Work closely with data engineers to access, clean, and prepare data for AI applications.
6. Deploy AI models into production environments and monitor performance to ensure reliability and scalability.
7. Continuously evaluate and improve AI models through experimentation and iteration.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI research, tools, and techniques, and recommend innovative approaches to solve business problems.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts, to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and processes.
10. Provide technical guidance and support to junior AI team members, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
2. Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in developing and implementing AI/machine learning solutions in a professional setting.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, along with experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
4. Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and data analysis techniques.
5. Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation/validation.
6. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience deploying AI models in cloud environments.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
9. Experience with agile development methodologies is preferred.
10. Demonstrated passion for AI and a desire to stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the field.
