Job Description:

Job brief
The BD/Sales Executive’s broad responsibilities include discovering market potential and
pursuing new sales prospects, primary negotiating deals and further maintaining customer
satisfaction in the LatAm Region. They will need excellent communication skills and an
ability to comfortably reach out to potential customers in order to demonstrate our services
and products through email and phone.

Actual Tasks & Responsibilities:

 Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
 Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and digital/social
media
 Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their expectations and concerns
 Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
 Analyse lost opportunities and suggest bridging gaps to handle complaints or objections.
And gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
 Enable frequent reviews and generate MIS reports with sales and export data
 Participate on behalf of the AEPL/group companies in exhibitions, trade fairs or conferences
 Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
Requirements skills and traits:
 Proven experience as a Sales Executive/CRM or relevant role.
 Proficiency in English is a must and a working knowledge of Spanish is an added advantage.
 Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus
 Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
 Fast learner and passion for sales
 Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
 Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
Work Experience & Academic Background.

Preferably Pharma Graduate or Graduate with a Chemistry specialization and MBA in Marketing.
Minimum 3-4 Years of experience in handling Export Sales, Latin American countries for product
category of API/Formulations/Excipients/Herbal Extracts etc.

Past Experience of working with Pharma Companies, trading firms or export houses will be
preferred. Having work experience in any LatAm Countries will be of added advantage.
Work Location – Kolkata, India
Reporting to – Manager Business Development
Expected On Boarding Time – within 30 or as soon as possible.
