We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team in Kolkata. You will be responsible for the daily maintenance of our three commercial/residential buildings (specify type) and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of the buildings to identify potential maintenance issues (structural, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Prepare detailed reports documenting identified issues, including repair recommendations and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and budget.
• Manage the procurement process for building maintenance services by soliciting quotes, evaluating vendors, and negotiating contracts.
• Oversee the work of vendors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including costs and vendor performance.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant building codes and safety regulations.
• Respond to tenant inquiries and complaints regarding building maintenance issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of building construction principles, materials, and systems (structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Experience in preparing maintenance reports and cost estimates.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and tenants.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Valid two-wheeler license preferred.
