Job Description:

Position - Asst. Manager-Sales (Domestic)

Department - Sales and Marketing

Vacancy - 2

 

Experience - 2–5 years of experience in technical sales or engineering-based selling

Salary - 3 to 4 LPA; Incentives are subject to approval by management, after candidate selection and best fit check.

Location - Kolkata

Employment - Permanent

Work Related Travel - Yes (Extensive), Travel Reimbursements available as per policy.

Educational Qualifications (Mandatory) - Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)

Educational Qualifications (Preferred - Optional) - Certificate course/ MBA/PGDM in Marketing

 

Primary Skills - 

 

  1. Strong understanding of industrial/mechanical/electrical systems and components
  2. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  3. Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  4. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ ERP (e.g. ODOO preferred, though not mandatory)
  5. Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites and project locations.

 

Secondary Skills (Optional / Preferred) - Primary Knowledge of Digital Marketing

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Understand the technical aspects of our products and solutions and effectively communicate them to potential clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through market research, cold calls, and networking
  • Visit client sites to understand technical requirements and offer tailored solutions
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled
  • Develop and submit proposals, quotations, and tender documents
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals while ensuring profitability
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
  • Achieve sales targets and prepare regular reports for management
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and technological developments
