About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, strategically driven, and entrepreneurial Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with experience in the Venture Capital (VC) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial strategy, fundraising, investment analysis, and business growth. Candidates with experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry, particularly those who understand the financial and operational dynamics of the sector, will be preferred.

This role is suited to a forward-thinking finance professional who can work closely with the leadership team to drive business expansion, strengthen financial performance, and create long-term value.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans.

• Lead fundraising activities, investor relations, and capital-raising initiatives.

• Evaluate investment opportunities, financial risks, business models, and growth potential.

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.

• Develop financial models, business valuations, and investment projections to support strategic decisions.

• Advise the leadership team on business expansion, capital allocation, profitability, and financial sustainability.

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, optimize costs, and maximize returns.

• Support equity structuring, investment negotiations, and strategic partnerships.

• Establish financial controls, risk management practices, and scalable financial processes.

• Contribute to long-term business planning and value creation.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience in the Venture Capital (VC) industry, startup ecosystem, investment management, or a related field.

• Strong strategic thinking, financial acumen, and entrepreneurial mindset.

• Experience in fundraising, investor management, financial modelling, business valuation, and capital allocation.

• Prior experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry will be a strong advantage.

• Ability to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies.

• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business environment.

• Open to candidates from any location across India.

• Compensation is open for discussion based on the candidate's experience, expertise, and potential contribution.
