KOL-TECH | Kolkata | 1 opening Monthly fixed gross salary: INR 20,000–25,000 Work arrangement: Full-time, on-site. Exact workdays and hours to be agreed. Role purpose Keep pod systems, local IT connections, app vendors and production activities working reliably through hands-on troubleshooting and delivery coordination. Key responsibilities      Translate product requirements into a prioritised vendor backlog; coordinate app and backend releases, UAT and issue closure. Coordinate production milestones, quality checks, dispatch readiness, installation and service handovers. Set up and troubleshoot Wi-Fi, routers, internet access and tablet or device settings; pair Bluetooth devices and resolve audio or connection issues on site and remotely. Perform basic external checks of plugs, cables, adapters, power connections and visible damage using approved procedures. Isolate suspect equipment and escalate mains wiring, internal electrical repairs and live testing to a qualified technician. Maintain asset, issue and cost trackers; document setup steps, support venue staff and report recurring faults, resolutions and vendor commitments weekly. Desired candidate Prefer 1–3 years in IT support, field service or technical operations. Must demonstrate practical Wi-Fi setup, Bluetooth pairing, tablet troubleshooting and basic electrical fault recognition. Comfortable with vendor follow up, Excel or Sheets and clear documentation. Relevant IT, electronics or electrical training is useful. Specialist coding and electrical repairs remain with qualified providers. Success measures Weekly: connection issues resolved, resolution time, overdue critical faults, installation checklist completion and UAT acceptance. Monthly: repeat faults, connection-related downtime, installation rework and cost variance. First 90 days 30 days: map devices, networks and common faults; learn approved electrical checks. 60 days: independently resolve routine Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues and run installation checks. 90 days: reduce recurring faults and maintain clear service reports. Selection exercise Demonstrate Wi-Fi setup and Bluetooth audio pairing, diagnose a simulated connection failure and explain safe checks for a pod that will not power on. Record findings and identify when specialist support is required.
